Michael earned his J.D. (with an area of concentration in Intellectual Property, Information and Technology) in 2016 from Western University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
Before joining the firm, Michael completed his articles of clerkship with the intellectual property group of a large international law firm. Michael was an executive on the Western Intellectual Property Association and participated in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. He was also a finalist at the Torys Negotiation Competition and received honourable mentions at Western’s First Year Appellate Competition and the Lerners LLP Cup.
Michael has a B.Sc.H. in genetics from Western University and a M.Sc. in Cell & Systems Biology from the University of Toronto, where his research focused on the genetic underpinnings of pluripotency in embryonic stem cells.
