Nikolas is an Associate at Belmore Neidrauer LLP. His practice covers all areas of intellectual property litigation, with a particular focus on patent litigation in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
Nikolas has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, oil and gas, software, and consumer products. He has appeared as counsel in the Federal Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and Ontario Divisional Court. Nikolas also has experience advising clients on the applicable regulatory regimes in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, and healthcare industries.
Prior to studying law, Nikolas was a licenced and practicing pharmacist in British Columbia with practice experience in both community and institutional settings. He earned his B.Sc. (Pharm) from the University of British Columbia in 2013 where he was a Dean of Pharmaceutical Sciences Scholar. Before joining Belmore Neidrauer, Nikolas practiced at a leading intellectual property litigation boutique in Toronto.
